"Dr. Jim" Zimmerman, a graduate of the University of Toledo, completed his dental education at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1976. He then completed one year of post-graduate dental education at the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY. Upon finishing his residency, he opened a private dental practice in his hometown of Toledo, OH in July 1977.
Dr. Zimmerman is a member of the American Dental Association and the Ohio Dental Association, as well as a member and past-president of the Toledo Dental Society. He is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry as well as many other professional organizations, and has completed over 2,000 hours of continuing dental education; he truly believes that you are always a student. In 2014, Dr. Zimmerman was inducted into the American College of Dentists, an elite group of dentists from around the country. Dr. Zimmerman is happily married to his wife, Nancy, a dental hygienist, who is also an important part of the dental practice. The two of them have two wonderful children, a daughter, Mary, and a son, Jimmy, who is also pursuing a career in dentistry.
Dr. James Zimmerman III, D.D.S.
"Dr. Jimmy," as he is affectionately known around the office, is a 2018 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry with Summa Cum Laude honors. He has really enjoyed meeting (and more often "re-meeting" from his childhood) our wonderful patients, and looks forward to being an integral part of their oral health. Dr. Jimmy is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Greater Toledo Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He serves as the 2024 President of the Greater Toledo Dental Society, delegate to the Ohio Dental Association, as President-Elect and delegate for the Ohio Academy of General Dentistry, and is active on several ODA subcouncils and workgroups. He has a passion for dental photography and is always ready to learn new dental techniques to deliver quality, painless dentistry.
Outside of the office, Dr. Jimmy is an avid Ohio State fan, as he attended The Ohio State University for his undergraduate career as well, and enjoys playing golf on the weekends. Dr. Jimmy is married to his wife, Erica, and enjoys spending time with their son, Nolan!
Nancy Zimmerman, R.D.H.
Nancy Zimmerman is not only the wife of Dr. Zimmerman, but is also a registered dental hygienist. She graduated from college in 1980 and has worked with her husband ever since in many capacities. She may work with orthodontic patients, assist the doctor, clean patients' teeth, or pay office bills. She is the proud mom of Dr. Jimmy, a dentist in our practice, and Mary, a children's therapist in Columbus. Nancy really enjoys and promotes the family atmosphere in the dental office, adding, "We have enjoyed getting to know many families in our practice, some of which include up to three generations of patients!"
Angie R.D.H
Angie has been working with Dr. Zimmerman for several years as our hygienist! She really enjoys connecting with her hygiene patients and meeting the wonderful families we have here. Angie is a proud dog mom, and enjoys spending time with her family, including her baby great nephew!
Beth R.D.H.
Beth is the newest addition to our office as an additional hygienist, and she has enjoyed helping our wonderful patients clean their teeth and become better educated to prevent oral disease. Beth has several years experience as a hygienist, and enjoys talking to patients about their hobbies. Outside of the office, Beth enjoys spending time with her husband, David, and celebrating her new granddaughter!

Sarah is Dr. Zimmerman's primary dental assistant, and we could not be happier to have her! Sarah has several years of experience in the dental field, and really enjoys working with patients. Outside of the office, Sarah is married to her husband, Shawn, and they enjoy spending time with their children, Nathan, Carly, and baby Noah.

Recently back to the Midwest from Wyoming, Sarah is Dr. Jimmy's primary dental assistant. Sarah has worked at several offices out west and in the greater Toledo area, and she really enjoys helping patients achieve healthy smiles. Sarah is a gem and mineral aficionado, and likes to spend time with her family, especially niece and nephews!
Laurie
Laurie is our business team member extraordinaire. She helps run our front office, ensuring patients are checked out properly and insurance claims have been processed. Laurie ensures our office runs smoothly and helps make sure we can help as many patients as possible. At home, Laurie enjoys spending time with her husband, Jim, and visiting their children as often as they can!
Lauren
Lauren also helps run our front office, and enjoys being the "face" of the dental practice. Lauren helps check-in patients and coordinate scheduling to ensure we can see patients efficiently. When not at work, Lauren enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband, Ian, and their new baby, Miles!
Haley
Haley helps in all facets of the front office, from scheduling patients, checking insurance, organizing charts, and many other duties! Haley is currently in school to become a dental hygienist, and has enjoyed seeing how a dental office operates while she is still in school!
